Sat 20 July - Reggio Calabria, Fatti di Musica Festival - Reggio Live Fest 2019

Tue 23 July - Rome, Casa del Jazz

Max Weinberg's Jukebox is composed of four musicians and is the brainchild of Max Weinberg, drummer of the E Street Band by Bruce Springsteen, to carry around the great classics of rock'n'rollreinterpreted in a professional manner. His concert is not so much a concert as a party, an occasion in which everyone is part of the show: the audience can participate in the performance. choose from a list of over 200 tracksand, just like with a jukebox, he'll have his own song, performed live in real time! Between 2017 and last year, Weinberg performed together with his musicians in more than 80 explosive shows and will continue to bring the good music of the 60s/80s on the road with a tour in the United Statesand in Europe.

The artistic career ofMax Weinberg begins when he joins as a drummer in the E Street Bandon the occasion of the Born To Run Tour by Bruce Springsteen. "Max is a hurricane of drives, intelligence and humour." Springsteen himself said of him. "He has found a place in music through dedication and commitment. On stage, in three hours of non-stop rock music, he goes beyond just hearing what I'm saying, he hears what I'm thinking. He anticipates my thoughts, it's telepathy after years of touring together. It's a miracle and that's why people love musicians like that!".

Since 1993 Max has been the leader of The Max Weinberg 7band from the popular US TV show Late Night with Conan O'Brienwith whom he released a self-titled album in 2000. Weinberg is also the author of The Big Beat: Conversations with Rock's Greatest Drummers (1984), a book containing a series of interviews conducted over more than two years with the best drummers of every era, including Ringo Starrand tells a lot about the approach of these musicians to rock music. The one with Max Weinberg's Jukebox will be an opportunity to listen once again to timeless pieces, from the Beatles at Rolling Stone up to, of course, Bruce Springsteen.
