METRIC and SHADOWS FALL are the new confirmations for the third edition of the Flippaut Festival, scheduled for 1 and 2 June at Made in BO - Arena Parco Nord, Bologna. On 1 June, the Canadians METRIC will take the stage at Flippaut to present their new album 'Old World Underground, Where are You Now?' due out on 29 April. Dance Pop and New Wave, steeped in indie deviance a la New Pornoghaphers e Yeah Yeahsare the calling card of this captivating group, which also collaborated in the past on the project's second album Broken Social Scene. Great indie-dance sounds, then, while waiting for the performance of the evening's 'big' acts, Moby and The Chemical Brothers.

While the Audioslave-Prodigy-Slipknot triptych will set the evening of 2 June ablaze, in the afternoon another connoisseur performance: the SHADOWS FALL, 'one of the best metal bands today' as they are called by the music media. Emo-metal to the nth degree for a band inspired by the masters Panther e Slayerintertwined with the modernity of In Flameswhich is already well established in the States.
