The idea of the Communinstagram was created on the occasion of the Comfort Festival™ in Ferrara last summer, where Morgan called upon two historical travelling companions to play: the multi-instrumentalist Megahertz (Versus, Morgan) to synthesisers and theremin, and Dario Ciffo (Lombroso, Afterhours) on guitars. The two are joined by Dropkicka young and talented Roman fingerdrummer, with his AKAI MPC.
The repertoire ranges from the most famous songs of the Bluvertigo to those of Morgan as a solo artist, with tributes to the beloved David Bowieand Italian and international songwriting.
The concert has a wave-electronic-analogue sound, so dear to Morgan and of which he was the main testimonial as leader of Bluvertigo in the 1990s and then later in his solo career.
To open the concert of 31 December at DumBO of Bologna there will be Lisbonaa multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter from Turin who has already won the Bindi Award and with several singles to his credit.
In addition to the Bologna date, there are two more: a special tribute to David Bowie together with the The White DukesSaturday 8 January at the Giuseppe Verdi Municipal Theatre in Gorizia and an evening of piano recital at the Teatro Comunale Garibaldi in Figline Valdarno (FI) on Saturday 22 January.
