Hip hop legend NAS calls it "an extraordinary artist", the Sunday Times hailed her as the new Lauryn Hill; now the award-winning singer-songwriter Nneka is back with her new album "My Fairy Tales"(Bushqueen Music, 2015), released last March. This is Nneka's fourth work, recorded between France, Denmark and Nigeria, in which soul is mixed with reggae, Afrobeat and highlife influences. "My Fairy Tales" is a concept album that recounts the difficulties faced by Africans in their diaspora and focuses on the responsibility of adults in teaching new generations the importance of identity values and their culture of origin.
