New album and two concerts in Italy for THERAPY?

It is entitled Cleave the new work of Therapy?released last 21 September on Marshall Recordsand the band takes this opportunity to get back on the road and announce a tour that will also take them to Italy: Monday 4 February 2019 at the Serraglio in Milan e Tuesday 5 February at the Hall in Padua. I tickets for the show of Milan are available on the circuits Vivaticket e Ticketone (online and points of sale), while those for Padua are on sale at Do It Yourself; to enter the Milan concert you will need to have the ACSI card.

The band's fifteenth studio album, Cleave is the worthy follow-up to the acclaimed Disquiet (Marshall Records, 2015). The work is a collection of what the trio describes as well-calibrated, violently intelligent, passionate and powerful pieces from a band that has reached its artistic and creative peak. A fierce critique of the current state of affairs, investigating the internal schisms of contemporary society and the motivations of those who seek to spread dissent: a powerful, provocative and uncompromising collection from a band that has never been afraid to confront the darkest impulses of humanity and examine them.

From the electrifying sonic assault of Wreck It Like Beckett through the first single from the album Callow and the disturbing I Stand Alone to the desolate and distressing beauty of No Sunshinethe ten tracks that make up Cleave come together to make a portrait of a divided world, run by lying, unscrupulous masters. "We live in times of great confllittuality," declares frontman Andy Cairns without mincing words. "Look at what is happening now in the US, in the UK with Brexit, between North and South Korea, or even between Israel and Palestine: it is impossible not to notice a general climate of confrontation and turmoil. Some of these conflicts have been going on since time immemorial, but while we were busy writing the album it seemed that they had all reached their climax. Cleave is our response to the divisions we see around us."

I Therapy? are Andrew James Cairns (vocals and guitar), Michael McKeegan (bass) and Neil Cooper (battery).
