Opening act of Stay Train for the Blues Pills and Kadavar concert

After last February's success, the Blues Pills return to Italy for a single stage of their unreleased Lady in Gold Tour Wednesday 19 October at Alcatraz in Milan. An appointment that promises to be richer than ever: after the news that the Kadavar will join the Blues Pills on this tour, the Swedish band entrusts the opening act at the Stay Train. I tickets for the concert are available on the circuit Ticketone and points of sale Vivaticket.

The Stay Train were born in 2015 with the idea of playing covers of famous, or not-so-famous blues rock songs in small clubs. A small initial idea turned into an adventure and, without any kind of planning, their songs took shape between September and December 2015. It all culminated in a studio session in January 2016 that resulted in the new record "Just 'cause you got the monkey off your back doesn't mean the circus has left town".

As the name of the tour suggests, the Blues Pills will come to Italy to present their second studio album, Lady In Gold released on 5 August by Nuclear Blast Records/Warner. 10 new tracks for the American-Swedish-French quartet, which once again presents an intense rock vibe, powerful but at the same time mainstream. The very special album cover bears the signature of Dutch artist Marijke Koger-Dunham, already known for her work with Beatles, Cream and many other bands. I Blues Pills were born in 2011: the singer Elin Larsson and the bassist Zack Anderson barely 20 years old decide to start a new musical experience and in no time, the two founders are joined by guitarist Dorian Sorriaux and the drummer André Kvarnström. The band debuted in 2014 with the eponymous album 'Blues Pills' (Nuclear Blast), which placed fourth in Germany and reached the Top 20 in Switzerland, Austria and Finland. Both in the studio and live, the young quartet creates a truly unique and intense rock atmosphere, taking the audience back to the former glories of Aretha Franklin, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin and Cream thanks to the driving bass and drum lines along with Dorian Sorriaux's guitar solos, accompanied by Elin Larsson's incredible voice.

German hard rock band, which formed in Berlin in 2010, the Kadavar have a somewhat retro sound, with echoes of psychedelic and stoner rock, has been compared to that of great bands such as Led Zeppelin or Black Sabbath. On 21 August, Nuclear Blast Records released Berlin, the band's third album that encapsulates, in every line and rhythm, unforgettable memories and impressions of an ongoing journey. I Kadavar are Christoph 'Lupus' Lindemann (vocals, guitars), Simon 'Dragon' Bouteloup (bass) e Christoph 'Tiger' Bartelt (battery).
