Coming to Italy for one date only are the No SinnerCanadian blues rock band led by young actress and singer-songwriter Colleen Rennison, Thursday 13 October at Legend Club in Milan to present the new album Old Habits Die Hard published last May. I Nation of Giants are Max Castellani, Tia Galbiati and Denny Bucella, friends and, as they like to call themselves, 'soul-brothers'. The trio is characterised by a personal and genuine sound, which is influenced by the anomalous trio line-up in which radio refrains, fuzzed-out riffs, psychedelic hints and blues find their place. At times heavy-blues and at times southern rock and even soul&roll, it is difficult to cage them in a specific genre, but their energy is sure to captivate the audience.
After debuting in 2014 with the album Boo Hoowhich captured the roughness and resentment typical of youth venturing into adulthood, with Old Habits Die Hard i No Sinner They show an evident growth not only in sound but also, and above all, in psychophysical terms, demonstrating that they have definitely taken their existence into their own hands.
Active since 2012, the No Sinner are the brainchild of the actress Colleen Rennison, who after acting alongside Hollywood stars such as Ray Liotta, Michelle Pfeiffer e Bruce Willis decided to nurture his other artistic side, the musical one, after cultivating it from a young age. Since then, the band has conquered American and European stages with its grit and incisive, catchy sounds, passing through festivals such as the SXSW or performance on media such as the BBC Radio 2. Now, with a few years of on-the-road experience between tour vans, cheap hotels and hundreds of alcohol-stained bars behind them, the No Sinner have finally emerged as a fully realised rock'n'roll band, with an intrepid Colleen at the helm.
