Italian band composed of Paolo Roberto Pianezza and Francesca Alinovi; two multi-instrumentalists whose influences are deeply rooted in American country, rock'n'roll, western and swing music of the 1940s and 1950s.

Besides vocal harmonies, Paolo plays electric and acoustic guitar, lap steel, resonator and Dobro guitar. Francesca plays double bass with the addition of a brush pad, a percussion embedded in the double bass to keep the rhythm with a drum brush. The duo is joined by Alessandro Cosentino on violin and drums.

In December 2023, 'Goin' Down' and 'Until I'm done' - two first singles from the new album.

With five albums to their credit to date, Lovesick have a new album 'Remember My Name' scheduled for release in spring 2024. Recorded in Los Angeles during the late American spring of 2023, 'Remember My Name' was produced and mixed by Fabrizio "Fab" Grossi and mastered by Gavin Lurssen. In Australia, the band released a double single 'Goin' Down' and 'Until I'm Done' before the LP.

Lovesick's songs have been played on radio stations across Italy, Spain, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, Ireland, the US and Brazil, steadily increasing the band's popularity worldwide since their formation in 2015. Their live shows are greeted with total affection and warmth expressed by the sold-out signs at every stop of the band's recent tour, which has hit big club cities such as Rome, Milan, Verona, Treviso and Bologna, their hometown.

Lovesick have played as opening band for Ben Harper and Zucchero. Toquiño and Edoardo Bennato and have played at major festivals throughout Europe, alongside the likes of The Offspring, Social Distortion, Walter Trout, Fu Manchu, Orchestra Secondo Casadei and Ten Years After.

Their strong presence on social media has aroused the'interest also from numerous television stations, with Paolo and Francesca invited to participate, both as actors and musicians, in the film on the life of Francesco Totti 'Speravo de morì prima' and in 'Lamborghini', released in cinemas in the US and Europe. Paolo and Francesca will again combine their acting and musical talents in a new series on Oriana Fallaci to be released in the European autumn of 2024.

To date, Lovesick have independently sold more than 19,000 copies of their albums in Europe, the US and Asia.
