The two tours that will set Italy ablaze between 29 February and 2 March will have as many special guests to keep an eye on. For the only Italian date of NIGHTWISHstaged on 2 March at the Palalido MilanThe Swedes will open the show PAINone of Scandinavia's fastest-growing new metal bands, have now reached the release of their fifth album entitled Psalms of Exctintion'.: the band is led by Peter Tagtgrenleader of the best known Hypocrisy and avail themselves in a couple of tracks of the collaboration of the bass player of the In Flames, Peter Iwers.

The two Italian stages of the 4 Tours 2008 of THE CURE will be opened instead by the 65 Days Of Static (pictured), a British band whose post-rock sounds (almost entirely instrumental) are similar in approach to those of Robert Smith and companions, while having a harder and less dark-oriented outlook.
Their official website offers easy access to their music, particularly the songs from their latest studio work The destruction of small ideasreleased last April.
