PAUL WELLER: the 'modfather' returns to Italy with five shows

Three years after the last Italian dates, Paul Weller is pleased to surprise loyal listeners by announcing five summer concerts that will tour our country from North to South. Fans from all over Italy will therefore have the opportunity to witness live the eclectic talent of one of the leading representatives of culture MOD. Departed from punk, Paul Weller passed through theacid jazz to pushing himself as a soloist into new sounds, bordering on the popfolksoul and even in theelectronics. This incredible capacity for experimentation emerges in the flourishing discography of Wellerwhich since 1992 has published as many fourteen studio albumsthe last of these, True Meanings (Parlophone Records)came out in 2018.

British singer, guitarist and composer, Paul Weller is a veritable institution in his homeland: most of his song lyrics are inspired by English culture. His recording debut came in 1977 with the release of In The City (Polydor Records) with the Jam, a band of which he was frontman and with which he reached the top of the British charts several times. In 1982 he founded the Style Council together with the keyboardist Mick Talbotin order to explore the boundaries of theacid jazz.This experience also ended, Paul Weller kicked off his solo career, punctuated by one success after another, both public and critical.
