Born in Alabama, Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires land their first Italian tour during the promotion of their third work "Youth Detentionafter the fantastic 'There's a Bomb in Gilead' (released in 2012 by Alive Natural Sound and incensed by web-magazine Roots Highway as one of the best records of the year) and that 'Deconstructed' with whom they went under contract to Sub Pop Records (Nirvana, Iron & Wine, Gutter Twins, Mark Lanegan, Dinosaur Jr...).

Inspired by a sparse, hardcore sound and punk roots, Lee Bains and co. have been able to experiment and fuse their energy with southern US roots-rock and an indie-pop vein (especially present on the second record) that makes them a versatile band dedicated to the classics but also in step with the times.
The new CD is a blast of energy, blunt and sincere, between cowpunk and southern rock n' roll, a kind of fusion of slum and country. And with their new songs, Lee Bains III & The Glory Fires are ready to set the stages of Europe ablaze with enthusiasm and fun.
