POUYA, underground hip hop for the first time in Milan on 11 October

Next autumn the self-made man of the new wave of star-studded hip hop Pouya will make his debut on an Italian stage. The date is one not to be missed: Thursday 11 October at Fabrique in Milan. Ticket sales will open on the circuits Vivaticket e Ticketone (online and point of sale) at 10 a.m. on Thursday 14 June.

Pouya is bringing the raw sounds of the underground to the masses, and doing it all by himself. The Miami rapper, born Kevin PouyaHe personifies the quintessential modern underground rap star: born on the internet, raised on the streets, bored by the mainstream hip hop world and blessed with flow. Until today, Pouya and its label Buffet Boys remained completely independent and in total control: the rapper never released on any label except his own. It is with this dangerous cocktail of skills and life experiences that Pouya has built an avid fan base and a catalogue of underground anthems and chart-topping singles.

Among the most vibrant artists of the up-and-coming rap movement on SoundCloud today, Pouya began his career in the online rap and hip hop communities. Thanks to the series Nick and Pouya Show on YouTube, Pouya and his best friend and creative partner Fat Nick have met SpaceGhostPurrp and other members of the Miami hip hop collective Raider Klan, who initially helped the two rookies make their way onto the map. Barely seventeen years old, Pouya dropped out of school to pursue his music career full-time with Fat Nick. The two soon get to know Robb Bank$ and join his label Smart Stunnaswhich in 2013 hosts the single Get Buck on one of his mixtapes. The track quickly went viral and totalled more than 15 million streams on the various platforms.

The rap world officially knows Pouya in 2016 through its debut album Underground Underdogproduced by renowned producer and DJ Getterthe work introduces the rough and rugged vocal flow of Pouya and is a commercial success, reaching number two in the charts iTunes Hip Hop/Rap and tenth in the overall iTunes chart. In 2017 Pouya collaborates with Fat Nick at the mixtape Drop Out of Schoolwhich reaches the top ten in the Billboard Heatseekers. The rapper is currently at work on a series of releases, including the follow-up to the mixtapes Drop Out of School with Fat Nick e $outh $ide $uicide with $uicideBoy$as well as his new album with an as yet unconfirmed title.
