After the triumphant show sold out at Mediolanum Forum di Assago (MI) last February, i Queen + Adam Lambert return to Italy for a unique outdoor summer date: the appointment is for Saturday 25 June 2016 at the Camerini Amphitheatre in Piazzola sul Brenta (PD). After appearing with the Queen in the final of the 2009 edition of American Idol and, later, accompanied them in a performance at the MTV Europe Music Awards, Adam Lambert became a regular guest of the band and embarked on a long series of concerts and TV appearances with them, as well as a sold-out tour in the USA after which the Queen + Adam Lambert have won the title of Band of the Year to the annual award Classic Rock Roll of Honour as well as being voted by the readers of Ultimate Classic Rock such as Best live band of the year.
I Queen + Adam Lambert ended 2014 in style when they were invited to perform in an exclusive New Year's Eve concert broadcast live by BBC One, Queen + Adam Lambert Rock Big Ben Liveheld near the historic clock tower as midnight struck in 2015 and continued after the world-famous fireworks show on the banks of the Thames. The event was watched by 12 million spectators and over the next twenty-four hours the name of Adam Lambert was the most searched for on Google, with over 500,000 searches.
In early 2015 the Queen + Adam Lambert returned to the stage for a series of 26 sold out shows in ten European countries, including the extraordinary concert at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago on 10 February. By the end of the tour, the band had sold out 67 shows worldwide in less than a year, earning rave reviews everywhere. On 18 September 2015 the Queen + Adam Lambert were also headliners at the historic festival Rock in Rio30 years after the band's historic performances together with Freddie Mercurywhich totalled a remarkable 500,000 paying spectators, the highest in history.
