After performing in North America during the summer with 25 universally acclaimed grandiose shows - 'it is strong, funny and unforgettable' - and played sold-out venues approaching 400,000 spectators in total, the Queen + Adam Lambert have finally announced that they will bring next year's new experience Rhapsody at English and European audiences.
For what will be the first European tour since the release of the record-breaking film, Bohemian Rhapsody, i Queen + Adam Lambert reveal that they will perform in sixteen dates in the UK and Europe in spring 2020. The long-awaited new tour will start from theItaly for a single date at theUnipol Arena by Casalecchio di Reno (BO) Sunday 24 May 2020. Nominal tickets for the only Italian show of the The Rhapsody Tour will be on sale on the official circuits Vivaticket, Ticketmaster e Ticketone from 10am today, Wednesday 25 September. Specials VIP packages will be available exclusively on the Ticketone. As always, Barley Arts invites fans to be wary of unofficial circuits and secondary ticketing platforms.
The "Print at home" function is enabled on all circuits, which means that it will not be possible to select collection at the box office on the evening of the event: this choice is aimed at facilitating operations, both for spectators and for the Organiser, avoiding queues at the box office, as well as simplifying name changes. The print-at-home option incurs no additional cost on Vivaticket e Ticketmaster. Tickets can only be purchased with home delivery (and exclusive fanticket) on the circuit Ticketoneas well as being available at points of sale Vivaticket e Ticketone. For all circuits, a maximum number of 4 tickets (or VIP packages) can be purchased per transaction.
This event is subject to the new regulations requiring each ticket issued to be named and the ticket holder to be checked at the entrance to the event. Each ticket will bear the first and last name of the ticket holder entered at the time of purchase. On the day of the event, a valid identity document will be requested at the entrance in addition to the ticket, in order to verify the correctness of the name entered. It will be possible to one name change per ticket from 1 April 2020 until the day before the concert.

The announcement of the new tour comes on the eve of one of the biggest American concerts in the glorious history of the Queen. This Saturday, 28 September, will be the headliner of the annual Global Citizen Festival at Great Lawn in New York's Central Parkplaying in front of aestimated audience of 60,000 viewers.
The famous event has been brought to the stage every year since 2012 by the Global Poverty Projectwhich aims to end extreme poverty by 2030. I Queen + Adam Lambert will star alongside the likes of Pharrell Williams, Alicia Keys, One Republic e Carole King.
The new show Rhapsody, already considered 'a jewel of technological progress', will start the New Year with 17 huge shows in arenas and stadiums in South Korea, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. The extravaganza will then come to late spring in the UK and Europesince the original members of Queen Brian May and Roger Taylor will once again team up with Adam Lambert, voice and frontman alreadyto perform sixteen shows in eight countries from the end of May until early July.
The European tour will start from Italy on 24 May and will conclude on 1 July in Denmark with performances in The Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany e Switzerlandas well as the United Kingdomwith five shows at London's O2 Arena starting on 2 June.
The only British show outside the capital will be held at the MEN Arena in Manchester on 11 July. So far these are the only confirmed UK dates for the Queen + Adam Lambert.
During the six weeks of this part of the Rhapsody Tour, European fans will finally have the chance to see the epic new show that has rocked North America, so much so that it has become the most requested show of the year in the US. Always masters of extravagant performances and lavish visuals, the new production of the Queen + Adam Lambert is once again the work of set designer Ric Lipson and the light designer Rob Sinclair of Stufish Entertainment Architects, who have long collaborated with the Queenalso for the most recent and stunning concert tour News Of The World.
Lipson describes the two-and-a-half-hour production as "A new chapter in the band's history. Expanding once again the parameters of what a live music experience can mean, this new show takes the band to its most spectacular level to date, an innovative and interactive celebration of the continuing power of Queen's music."
The tour comes at a time when the Queen continue to ride the wave of Oscar-winning biopic Bohemian Rhapsodywhich introduced their music to new audiences with record-breaking results. In addition to becoming the highest-grossing musical biopic of all timeIt is also the best-selling film in the UK in 2019.
The original soundtrack by Queen remained in the top of the UK album chart since its debut in November 2018; in the United States reached the highest position for the band in 38 years, and the Queen have sold more albums in North America than any other artist in the first half of 2019. The immortal avant-garde video of Bohemian Rhapsody reached a historic billion views on YouTubebecoming the most viewed video of the 20th century. In addition, the views to the video of Don't Stop Me Now have exceeded the 500 million.
Revealing news long awaited by the band's British and European fans, the Queen member Roger Taylor stated: "We are back and we are ready.
A Brian May enthusiastically stated: "This new production is crazy and takes Queen's legacy to a new level. I am very proud."
Adam Lambert joined in, saying: "I can't wait to get back to the UK and Europe, the last tour was a blast and I'm very excited to bring this new show there."
From the first moment when Adam Lambert shared the stage with Queen at the final of American Idol in 2009his dynamic performances have reinvigorated the band and enthused fans all over the world. Off to a good start, their first real show in June 2012 thrilled a crowd of half a million fans in the Ukrainian capital Kiev. Since then, stratospheric performances by May and Taylor were joined by the vocal skills and stage presence of Lambertresulting in an explosive combination. After more than two hundred live showstheir partnership has remained a commercial and critical triumph, enchanting sold-out venues in every corner of the world.
Their story is now the subject of great new two-hour TV documentary The Show Must Go On: The Queen + Adam Lambert Storywhich aired in prime time on US broadcaster ABC TV, winning the highest share of the night's television. With extremely rare concert footage and exclusive portraits of the band members off stage, The Show Must Go On narrates the incredible journey of the Queen and Lambert started from American Idol.
Documenting his humble beginnings and meteoric rise in reality TV to his current place at centre stage as frontman of the Queen + Adam Lambertthe film shows exclusive interviews with Lamberthis parents Leila and Eber and with the founding members of Queen Brian May and Roger Taylor. There are also Rami Malekwinner of the Golden Globe and theOscar for Best Actor at Bohemian Rhapsody, e Taylor Hawkins of Foo Fighters. The documentary will be aired in the UK in October.

In addition to travelling the world with the Queen, Adam explores the world of film and TV with a cameo in the award-winning Bohemian Rhapsody and voicing the character Emperor Maximus in the live-action animated Playmobil: The Movie. The latest single Superpower was published on 4 September and will be included in the long-awaited EP Velvet: Side A, which will be available on 27 September.
