QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT IN CONCERT IN ITALY FOR ONE DATE ONLY

QUEEN + ADAM LAMBERT announce a long European tour in 2015 that will also bring them to Italy for a single date: Tuesday 10 February at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago (MI), bavailable tickets from 11 a.m. on Wednesday 1 October on the Ticketone circuit (www.ticketone.it) and the relevant pre-sales.

Queen + Adam Lambert are gearing up for a six-week European tour starting in January for what promises to be one of the most anticipated dates of next year.

Having embarked on a sold-out world tour that took them to North America, Australia and New Zealand with stops at open-air festivals in Korea and Japan, Queen + Adam Lambert are sparing no effort to bring their critically acclaimed partnership to the world.

Two years after May, Taylor and Lambert's European dates, this expanded tour will see Queen + Adam Lambert play a series of 21 shows in 10 countries. The tour opens at Newcastle Arena on 13 January, before continuing for seven UK dates, including a date at London's O2 Arena. The tour will then continue to France, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, Belgium, Italy, Denmark and the Czech Republic before concluding at Zurich's Hallenstadion on 19 February.

Tickets for the Italian date (Tuesday 10 February at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago) will open on Wednesday 1 October at 11am. Tickets will be available on the Ticketone circuit (www.ticketone.it) and related pre-sales.

The announcement of the new tour is expected to trigger a rush to buy tickets from fans, as was the case with the 24-date US tour, which sold out in record time. Queen and Adam Lambert have not disappointed the expectations of fans and critics alike, earning rave reviews such as:

"Guaranteed to blow your mind, indeed'. (Entertainment Weekly)

"We were rocked, Queen is still the champion, and Lambert is a skilled voice to ensure that their music will remain live for a generation of fans". (VH1)

"Rejuvenated Queen reigns supreme. Bow down fans, your new Queen is worthy of your love and devotion". (Edmonton Journal, Canada)

"Queen guitarist Brian May, drummer Roger Taylor and newcomer Adam Lambert blew the roof off in an energetic rock extravaganza which pulled no punches. Their extraordinary musical talent showed no signs of waning". (The Daily Telegraph, Sydney).

"Queen and Adam Lambert delivered just over two hours of pure sensation straight into the nerves and bones of anyone lucky enough to witness it. Freddie may be gone, but he would surely approve". (Brisbane Times)

"Did they rock us? Oh YES!" (New York Daily News).

Queen and Adam Lambert first met in 2009, when they performed the band's rock anthem "We Are The Champions" together during the season eight finale of "American Idol". Lambert and Queen reunited on the same stage at the 2011 MTV European Music Awards in Belfast. In the summer of 2012, the band and the young rocker played their first series of concerts together, including three sold-out shows at London's Hammersmith Apollo, as well as appearances in Russia, Ukraine and Poland.

An additional performance at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas last September sparked the idea for Adam, Roger and Brian to take the show on tour. The Hollywood Reporter wrote: 'Adam Lambert and Queen left the iHeart breathless. With his perfect blend of rock attitude, style, theatrics, sex appeal and vocal talents, he took the band's music to another level."

Now the winning combination of Queen + Adam Lambert continues on its way with what is sure to be a triumphant tour. Lambert is also keen to warn the audience that there will be big news in the show.

"From a technical point of view, unlike two years ago, this is a more complete production," says the singer. "We will have to visit a lot more cities and that led us to decide together to design some visuals and a particular stage." "Our set has a very particular design," says Brian May. "It's big and very bold. We're going to push everything to the max," the guitarist continues. "Every time we've played our music with Adam, he's proved to be an incredible frontman," Roger Taylor claims. "He's sensational. He's got an amazing range, and he can match Freddie's. He's an amazing singer and he's a great singer. He's a great singer and a real talent. I feel like he fits in perfectly with our theatrics, he's just so comfortable."

As for the future, it seems that the Queen + Adam Lambert partnership is destined to be limited, at least for the moment, to their live collaborations. Lambert is currently working on his third album. May and Taylor are preparing for the release of 'Queen Forever', a new collection of previously unreleased material recorded with Freddie Mercury, which will be released on 10 November.

During their long career, Queen have amassed a staggering list of awards and inductions into various halls of fame, and in this they are second to none. Record sales in the hundreds of millions, plus a list of chart-topping albums and singles, continue to put Queen in the top ten iTunes sales of all time. In early 2014, the band was recognised as the first ever to sell over 6 million copies of an album in the UK with their 'Greatest Hits', beating The Beatles' 'Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band' by almost a million copies: it is estimated that one in three households in the UK owns a copy of this compilation.

Adam Lambert's great performances during the eighth season of "American Idol" are among the best moments in the show's history. His debut album "For Your Entertainment" earned him a Grammy Award nomination in the category "Best Male Pop Vocal Performance". His second album, 'Trespassing', debuted at number 1 on the Billboard charts. The ensuing tour took Lambert from Australia to South Africa, through Asia and Eastern Europe and culminated in a sold out show in Helsinki. In 2013, Lambert appeared as a guest star on the hit TV series 'Glee'. He is currently completing his third album.
