The show has been hailed as 'the latest amazing chapter in the history of the greatest rock band ever, breathing new life into more than five decades of music by the Queen". After a two-year wait, audiences will finally get the chance to see the extraordinary new show that caused such awe and excitement when it debuted in North America in 2019 that it has become one of the most sought-after shows of the year. The concerts will be the line-up's first in Europe since the release of the record-breaking biopic Bohemian Rhapsody.
Since Adam Lambert shared the stage for the first time with the Queen in 2009, at the final of American Idolhis dynamic performances have reinvigorated the band and delighted fans all over the world. Their first concert together in 2012 thrilled a crowd of half a million people in the Ukrainian capital, Kiev. Since then, the musical fireworks of Brian May e Roger Taylor were accompanied by the vocal skills and stage presence of Lambertcreating an explosive combination.
After more than 200 concerts, the partnership is still a triumph among audiences and critics, with a total audience of almost four million. The live album Live Around The World, released in October 2020, was the tenth album by the Queen to reach number 1 in the world charts, and the first work to give this emotion to Adam Lambert.
In addition, the 17 June came out on box set of 6 LPs by The Platinum Collectionfor the first time on coloured vinyl and in a limited edition. True to its name, The Platinum Collection was recently certified by the British music industry organisation BPI as 8 times Platinum.
