Two years after their two hugely successful dates in Italy, R5 return to Italy and announce two dates not to be missed. The LA band will be on Wednesday 11 October at Orion in Ciampino (RM) and Thursday 12 October at Live Club in Trezzo sull'Adda (MI). Since the success of Sometime Last Night, R5 have been touring continuously to bring their crazy pop groove around the world. During this time, leader Ross Lynch (vocals and guitar) and his brothers Riker (bass, vocals), Rocky (guitar/vocals), Rydel (keyboard, vocals) and Ellington 'Ratliff' (drums, vocals), began working on new material, new songs that would capture and tell the story of their adventures around the world. Back in their studio, all new thoughts began to take shape with an irresistible balance of intense feelings and pure pop euphoria.
New Addictions is the new album, the follow-up to Sometime Last Night, which marks a new era for R5: the band now takes a much more important role in songwriting and production. The new record reflects R5's great passion for music, which, through constant writing and recording, translates into a great level of sonic ingenuity and artistic refinement through which they sing about their experiences, all of which at the time of writing seemed almost like addictions, whether they were really in love or a fleeting infatuation. All that remains is to hear it live when the band is in Italy.
