The young Scottish singer-songwriter Rachel Sermanni is coming to Italy on tour: on 22 April, she will be on stage at the OCA in Milan, the new multifunctional space managed by Barley Arts in collaboration with the City of Milan, to present her folk songwriting.
Rachel, at only 20 years old, is the rising star of Scottish music, steadily on the rise.
His debut album Under Mountains (released last September by Middle Nowhere Records and Rough Trade Records) is a collection of romantic ballads, steeped in Celtic folk, capable of winning over audiences and critics alike. Her sensitive and delicate songs sound like dreams become music. His influences include artists such as Eva Cassidy, Van Morrison and Bob Dylan.
Born in 1991, Rachel began her career at a very young age, hitting the stages as early as sixteen.
He has participated in some of the most important European festivals (including Reading Festival and Leeds Festival) and has supported musicians such as Mumford & Sons, Fink and Elvis Costello.
