RILEY PEARCE opening for FINK at MOJOTIC FESTIVAL

Among the most appreciated musicians of our time, Fink returns to Italy next summer for two unmissable events Sunday 29 July at the Anfiteatro del Venda in Galzignano Terme (PD) and Monday 30 July at the Teatro Conchiglia in Sestri Levante (GE) for the new edition of the Mojotic Festival. The dates promise to be richer than ever: Australian Riley Pearce will open Fink's Mojotic Festival show.. I tickets for the concert by Padua are available on the official circuits Vivaticket and Do It Yourself, while those for the Sestri Levante at Vivaticket e Ticketone. Be wary of unofficial sales channels.

Sixth studio album for Fink, pseudonym of Fin Greenall, together with trusty Tim Thornton (drums, guitar) and Guy Whittaker (bass), Resurgam continues the adventurous musical path taken by the sample-oriented debut Fresh Produce (2000) up to the last Hard Believer (2014). Over the years, Fin Greenall has also gained respect from audiences and critics as a composer of music for film, writing for John Legend and Amy Winehouse and for its side projects, from Horizontalism (2015) a Sunday Night Blues Club Vol.1 (2017).

The title Resurgam comes from a Latin inscription on a church built 900 years ago in Greenall's native Cornwall. Its vital and insistent spirit pulses through the ten tracks of the album, recorded with Flood (PJ Harvey, U2, Foals, Warpaint, The Killers) at his 'Assault & Battery' studios in North London.

Fink is an artist who has never been afraid to experiment and this record project sounds more fearless than ever. The lyrics are deliberately minimal, but accompanied by a deep and persuasive funk flow. The live approach of Fink is acclaimed all over the world, in intimate clubs, arenas or alongside a renowned classical ensemble (Fink Meets The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, 2013). Resurgam is a bold new musical chapter and it's pure Fink: all heart, soulful and irrepressible.

Riley Pearce has the undeniable gift of marvelling with her voice and authentic songwriting. With her raw voice reminiscent of Bruce Springsteen's solo era, she sings of journeys of self-discovery and truth with a veiled nostalgia. His track Brave has surpassed over 5 million plays on Spotify.
