RYAN BINGHAM ONLY DATE IN ITALY FOR AN UNMISSABLE UNPLUGGED SOLO SHOW

The singer-songwriter Ryan Bingham returns to Italy as unplugged for one date only, Tuesday 10 February 2015 at the Salumeria della Musica in Milan. Tickets (single seat, € 20.00 + admission charge) will be on sale on the Ticketone circuit from Friday 17 October.

Bingham, originally from the Deep South of the States, received his first guitar as a gift at the age of 16 and soon began performing in clubs in Fort Worth, Texas. After two self-produced EPs he was noticed by Lost Highway Recordswhich put him under contract and released his first real album with The Dead Horses, 'Mescalito"(2007), produced by the former guitarist of the Black Crowes Marc Ford, with whom the singer-songwriter and his band also collaborated on the subsequent 'Roadhouse Sun"(Lost Highway Records, 2009).

The real public success came a few years later, however, when Bingham participated in the making of the award-winning film Crazy Heart (2009): in addition to playing a small part, the singer-songwriter wrote two songs for the soundtrack, including the theme song "The Weary Kind"produced by the legendary T Bone Burnett, which in 2010 won a Golden Globe and an Oscar for Best Original Song, a Grammy Award and the title of Song of the year at the ninth American Music Association Awards. The subsequent albums "Junky Star"(Lost Highway Records, 2010) and "Tomorrowland"(Axster/Bingham Records, 2012) were well received by audiences and critics alike and established Bingham as a new spokesman for the Americana genre.

On the occasion of the only Italian date on Tuesday 10 February 2015Ryan Bingham will present his songs in an unprecedented unplugged solo version.
