SIR THE BAPTIST: hip hop at Circolo Magnolia with the 'Preacher's Kid' artist

To the rhythm of hip hop, Saturday 25 March reaches the Circolo Magnolia di Segrate (MI) Sir The Baptist, special guest of Fresh Prince Night. Tickets for the concert will be available on the official circuit Ticketone from 11am on Friday 27 January; entrance reserved for ARCI card holders.

Leading lyricist and hip hop artist, Sir The Baptist is proving to be an important exponent of modern rap culture. He grew up listening to the likes of Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Duke Ellington and many others, Sir The Baptist combined the aggressiveness of hip hop with the bewitching charm of a crooner. An internationally renowned artist, Sir signed with the Atlantic Records and will be in Italy to present his new album, Preacher's Kid. Sir The Baptist caught the attention of Forbs, Jay Z, Billboard, CNN, Late Night with Seth Meyers, People Magazine, BBC Radio 1, NPR, the Grammys and many others for his pioneering cause of 'healing hip hop'.

He grew up in Chicago's historic Bronzeville neighbourhood, Sir The Baptist grew up in a particularly inspiring environment that not only led him towards music, but also towards philanthropy and a focus on culture and the balance between religion and life. Using his influence in the hip hop sphere, Sir The Baptist has recorded compelling stories in the form of parables, sending listeners a clear message of honesty, love, joy, truth, enlightenment, hope, and the possibility of change. Sir The Baptist is not only an artist, but also the author of The Travelogue of a Visionary and is often invited and called upon to give his opinion on important news, thanks to his great sensitivity towards humanity.
