Loved, hated, debated, revered and above all awaited: SNOOP DOGG, the most controversial face of the stars and stripes hip hop scene, the most dangerous gangsta-rap of the West Coast, finally announces his return in concert on an Italian stage, on 3 July at Rock in Roma.
With the release of his eleventh album, entitled "DoggumentarySnoop Dogg is one of the most creative artists of the last twenty years, and one of the brightest minds on the world music scene. He may not like the word "trend setter", but Snoop Dogg is undeniably the one who has been renewing his sound better than anyone else for years, becoming the object of imitation by many colleagues.
The single 'Wet', written especially for Prince William's stag party, became an instant hit, as did the recent 'Young, Wild and Free', where she duets with Bruno Mars, 'Drop it like it's hot' and 'My medicine', made with country star Willie Nelson.
Since the release of his debut album 'Doggystyle', which went quadruple platinum in the US, Snoop has quickly become known for his talent, not only as a rapper but also as a producer and actor, and not always for films suitable for minors.
His collaborations are endless and embrace every field: from music (most recently with Katy Perry for the hit 'California Gurls'), to cinema, where we remember him in the blockbuster 'Bruno'.
Snoop is not only a rapper but one of the most expressive faces of American culture in the last two decades.
His arrival in Italy is one of the most exclusive events of the coming summer:
