STEEL PULSE - THE HISTORY OF REGGAE MADE IN UK LANDS IN MILAN ON 24 AUGUST

Among the historical exponents of reggae music and with almost fifty years of career behind them, Steel Pulse will be in our country for one occasion only on Thursday 24 August at the Circolo Magnolia in Milan. Tickets are available on the Ticketone and Ticketmaster circuits.

Despite the weight of the worsening world situation, Steel Pulse stands with a kind of musical revenge to stop the chaos that has befallen humanity. The band's twelfth studio production, Mass Manipulation (Rootfire Cooperative, 2019) reflects the more than four decades the band has been committed to improving the world through music. Steel Pulse continue to be revolutionary in the way they address controversial issues such as racial injustice and human rights on a global scale. Their music and ideas are as powerful today as they were in their early days. The album's inimitable thematic approach invites reflection and goes further in search of a cohesion in humanity. The manipulation of our minds, which inspires the album's title, has been influenced by the New World Order that currently dominates the world. Steel Pulse arrives at a fateful moment, armed with compassion, encouraging us all to reject false ideals, to have higher goals and to ask more of ourselves to achieve this unification. The creativity, opinions and very person of David Hinds, the band's voice and guitarist, are revealed through particularly inspired compositions that capture the effects of the African Diaspora. These songs intertwine and interlock with each other, inviting everyone to unite and stand together.
