the first festival in Italy entirely dedicated to quality food on wheels
The tradition and variety of street food meet the creativity and personality of young enthusiasts who choose to move on wheels rather than settle in a fixed kitchen. Fast, cheap, gourmet, design and 'on the road' spirit meet and coexist on pick-up trucks set up like real travelling kitchens, offering the public a unique and absolutely innovative gastronomic experience.
In the first edition at the turn of May and June 2014, the public was able to enjoy more than thirty food specialities served by the various trucks, accompanied by excellent music and entertainment in various forms, with the participation of Don Pasta (Music&ShowCooking) and Chef Rubio with the 'Unti&Bisunti' truck, as well as meetings with authors of books related to street food.
The location chosen for the second edition, the 26, 27 and 28 September, will be the Carroponte di Sesto San Giovanni (MI)an area that has been used for years to host convivial and cultural events, and a clear choice by the organisers to expand the size of the event in terms of participants, capacity and services made available to the public and the food trucks themselves.
Like the first edition, entry to the event will be FREE.
Streeat FoodTruck Festival is an event organised by Barley Arts Promotion srl, a historic promoter of concerts and shows since 1979, and by Good-Food & Events, a young company operating in the food-events sector, specialising in the promotion of small and medium-sized artisanal producers.
