The brightest star in the firmament of the symphonic rock scene, Tarja Turunenwill be in Italy for two extraordinary concerts of the The Shadow Shows 2016: Monday 28 November 2016 at the Obihall Theatre in Florence e Tuesday 29 November at the Teatro della Luna in Assago (MI). The Milan date is a must for true fans: during the concert will be indeed registered one of the forthcoming works of Tarjathe Live DVD that will bear the title 'Act II'. I tickets for both concerts will be available for pre-sale at circuit Ticketone (online and at points of sale) from 10 a.m. on Thursday 6 October 2016.

Soprano, composer and songwriter, Tarja achieved international fame through his militancy in the NightwishFinnish symphonic metal band of which she was co-founder and vocalist for nine years. The unique combination of metal music and the voice of Tarja gave birth to a new genre that quickly gained popularity with audiences and critics alike, inspiring a new strand of rock. In 2005 Tarja has embarked on a solo career, always hovering between rock and opera music, and currently has seven studio albums to his credit. His latest work "The Shadow Self" (earMUSIC, 2016) reached the Top 20 in Austria, Finland, Germany and Switzerland. The tour accompanying its release, The Shadow Shows 2016is leaving in a few days and will touch down in Florence and Assago at the end of November.
