A few days after the announcement of the first two dates of the Italian summer tour of Mika, Sunday 10 July 2016 at Umbria Jazz in Perugia e Sunday 17 July at Collisioni di Barolo (CN)the showman announces a new appointment: Tuesday 12 July at the Camerini Amphitheatre in Piazzola sul Brenta (PD). Pre-sales for this new show are open on the circuit Ticketone and at the relevant points of sale.
This new concert is in addition to two appointments within two internationally renowned and appreciated festivals: theUmbria Jazz in Perugia in its 42-year history has hosted all the biggest stars of the jazz scene and beyond, while the younger Collisions is carving out a respectable place for itself in the context of festivals, thanks also to the splendid setting of Barolo (CN) and the Langhe, the only Italian wine-growing landscape to be included in the Unesco World Heritage Site.
The 13 November Universal has released a new deluxe edition of the successful album "No Place Like Heaven" (2015)with five new tracks including Beautiful Disaster (with Fedez), the English version of Permanent Gravity Centre ("Center Of Gravity) together with Franco Battiato and a second live CD containing the best of the performances recorded with theOrchestre Symphonique De Montrealwhich served as a model for the incredible concert in Como last October. The extraordinary event, broadcast on Sky One just in the last few days, was just the latest in a long series of sold-out shows across the peninsula, from the preview of the 10 June a Milan to the triumphs in the arenas of Assago, Rome e Florence in September.
