After the announcement of the new European tour of The CureAn incredible tam tam of reports, messages and posts on the web was unleashed. The hashtag #TheCure was one of the trending topics on Twitter and yesterday morning at 10:00, when pre-sales opened, the website of Ticketone was stormed by fans.
In just a few hours, more than 15,000 tickets were sold for the three announced dates scheduled for late 2016 :

Colossal, monumental, immense, The Cure have been missing from Italy since 2012, and the news that thousands of fans have been waiting for is finally here! The English band, led by Robert Smith, will in fact be in Italy for three unmissable concerts at the end of 2016.
Over the last 7 years The Cure have played a number of high-profile shows in London, have been headliners at major European festivals, including Roskilde, Werchter, Reading e Leeds, Pinkpop, Hurricane e Southside, Paleo, Vieilles Charrues, BBK, Belfort, Optimus Alive!, Spring, Frequency, Electric Picnic, Bestival and many others.
The tour will see Robert Smith (voice/guitar), Simon Gallup (low), Jason Cooper (battery), Roger O'Donnell (keyboards) and Reeves Gabrels (guitar) presenting 37 years of songs by Cures with their hits, remixes, rarities and previously unreleased tracks. All with a new production for a show that promises to be one of the unmissable events of the new year!
Supporters, for all dates, will be The Twilight Sad.
