The Duke of Spook Wednesday 13 announces a new tour together with his ghouls to present their latest work Necrophazereleased last September by Nuclear Blast. The only opportunity to see the line-up is just outside the country's borders, Thursday 2 July 2020 at the 6500 Bar Music Club in Bellinzona, Switzerland. Heavily influenced by the real-life nightmares of Wednesday himself, from historical serial killers and a series of horror films from the 1980s, the ideas behind Necrophaze are strangely familiar, scary and very funny. It is the first album by Wednesday 13 to have scary guests of all respects: Alice Cooper, Roy Mayorga (Stone Sour), Alexi Laiho (Children of Bodom), Jeff Clayton (ANTiSEEN, GG Allin's Murder Junkies) e Cristina Scabbia (Lacuna Coil). Necrophaze is a cauldron of monstrous riffs and frightening lyrics ready to entertain listeners, including a valuable cover of Films by Gary Numantaken from his debut album The Pleasure Principle who recently turned forty.
Also thanks to a stable line-up for several years, the writing process of Wednesday 13 developed into what it is today: all members contribute equally to quality songs. "It happens very often that the others create the song structure and I take care of the lyrics. That way we have a lot more time to be creative together".
Besides the frontman Wednesday 13 on vocals, the band consists of Roman Surman e Jack Tankersley on guitars, Troy Doebbler bass and Kyle Castronovo to the battery.
