THE TWILIGHT SAD: THE POST-PUNK BAND WILL BE IN ITALY FOR TWO SHOWS IN 2015

Scottish band The Twilight Sad will return to Italy next year for two dates: Tuesday 7 April at Locomotiv in Bologna and Wednesday 8 April at Biko in Milan. The band is currently on tour to promote its latest album, 'Nobody Wants To Be Here And Nobody Wants To Leave"released on 27 October by Fat Cat Records. Tickets are available on the Ticketone and points of sale Vivaticket.

The story of the Twlight Sad began at school when James Graham, Andy MacFarlane and Mark Devine formed a cover band. A few years later, the three met bassist Craig Orzel and began performing live around Scotland, where in 2003 they attracted the attention of Alex Knight (co-founder of Fat Cat Records) who immediately put them under contract. "Fourteen Autumns & Fifteen Winters"(Fat Cat Records) was released in 2007 and met with critical acclaim, which confirmed its appreciation of the band with the second album, 'Forget The Night Ahead"(Fat Cat Records, 2009), which constitutes Twilight Sad's first step towards a darker sound. The subsequent "No One Can Ever Know" (Fat Cat Records, 2012), recorded after Craig Orzel's farewell, marks a further turning point characterised by industrial and krautrock influences. In addition to the very recent Nobody Wants To Be Here And Nobody Wants To Leave (Fat Cat Records), the line-up released a self-produced limited edition EP, "Oran Mor Session', available exclusively during live shows.

The Twilight Sad are James Alexander Graham (voice), Andy MacFarlane (guitar, accordion, producer) and Mark Devine (drums, programming).
