After the experience with the Quadraphonics, Thomas Dybdahl debuted as a solo artist in 2000 with the EP 'Bird' and two years later achieved great success in his home country with his first album "...That Great October Sound" (Checkpoint Charlie Audio Productions)which reached number eight in the Norwegian album chart and turned out to be the first in a long series of hits. Dybdahl temporarily interrupted his solo career to lend his voice to the two albums of the Norwegian supergroup The National Bank, 'The National Bank' (2004) e "Come On Over To The Other Side" (2008)also topped the charts. Recently, Thomas Dybdahl collaborated with the jazz trio In The Country for an EP from which the single 'O".
