TOM ODELL in Italy for a one-off date in November with his new JUBILEE ROAD

Tom Odell has finally shared details of his third studio album, Jubilee Road, to be released on 12 October by Columbia Records, and the next tour dates. The British singer-songwriter will be in our country Saturday 17 November at Live Music Club in Trezzo sull'Adda (MI). I tickets will be available on the official circuits Ticketone, Vivaticket and Mailticket from 9 a.m. on Friday 6 JulyBe wary of unofficial sales channels.

Jubilee Road is, to Tom Odell's great pride, his boldest release to date and also his most personal. With important melodies and brilliant performances, Jubilee Roadtells of real-life stories experienced by Tom with his girlfriend in a house in east London. The listener cannot help but get caught up in the real-life dramas depicted by the singer-songwriter: from the colourful street setting in Jubilee Roadand bettors in betting shops (Queen Of Diamonds), to the almost unbearably bitter sweet celebration of Wedding Day.

The album, his third studio release, marks an important furrow in the career of Tom Odellthe talented young artist finally takes full control of his music, not only compositionally. His vibrant piano style winds along with his singing throughout the ten tracks, produced and arranged by Tom himself.

Talking about the new album Tom he says: "I wrote this album in a house on a quiet terraced street in East London. The lyrics are inspired by the lives of the friends I made whilst living there. I recorded most the songs in the living room of the house and if I listen back closely, I can still hear the sound of the old man's television shows coming through the walls from next door, the kids from the house opposite playing football in the street below and the sound of my girlfriend's footsteps on the wooden floorboards above. I don't live there anymore, my life has changed somewhat, but I will always remember the time fondly and I hope you enjoy listening to the album as much as I did making it'.

The news of the album comes just after the release of the first single If You Wanna Love Somebodylast week. Tom will perform the new single at The Graham Norton Showtonight on BBC1. A passionate love song about broken relationships, following in the wake of the singer-songwriter's debut single Another Love. If You Wanna Love Somebodyis the first new material released by Tom Odell since the second album Wrong Crowd(2016), which debuted at number two in the UK Albums Chart.
