After his three dates in Italy this autumn, we are happy to announce two new dates for the summer 2019 tour of the John Butler Trio, set for Saturday 29 June in Cesena at the Rocca Malatestiana on the occasion of the concert series Acieloaperto and for Sunday 30 June at Circolo Magnolia in Segrate (MI). Tickets will be available on the circuits Vivaticket e Ticketone starting from 10 a.m. on Wednesday 12 December (online and point of sale). Beware of unofficial circuits!
Acclaimed for their brilliant live performances and superb musicianship, the John Butler Trio is one of the most successful Australian bands on the current world music scene. Their latest album, entitled Home(Jarrah Records) and released on 28 September, is a very personal creation of songs reflecting everyday thoughts, family and travel, has rhythms industrialand an electric soul. About the new project, John Butler he said: "This album is a rite of passage, you can't get around it, but I have to go through it!"
After dozens of performances around the world, passing through iconic venues such as the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Colorado and theParis Olympia, a new European tour will see the trio present this latest work, including the singles Home, Just Calland the old hits that made John Butler one of the best-selling independent artists of all time.
