Recorded during last year's stages, Soulfire Live! is an epic adventure through the history of rock'n'roll led by one of its most passionate followers, demonstrating his in-depth knowledge, talent and absolute love for the genre in all its forms and genres. Highlights of the album include tracks from the long career of Little Steven - including classics such as Standing In The Line Of Fire e I Don't Want To Go Home - along with a large number of covers including the Groovin' Is Easy of Electric Flag, Blues Is My Business by Etta James e Down And Out In New York City by James Brown. Plus, Soulfire Live! includes presentations of the pieces made by the Stevenwith details of the history of each song in his inimitable style.
Soulfire Live! comes out just as Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul are getting ready to embark on a major new charity tour dedicated to TeachRockthe initiative of Rock and Roll Forever Foundation which aims to bring music to middle and high schools in America. At each stop on the tour, TeachRock will organise workshops to educate teachers on how to implement music in their curriculum.
