I Public Service Broadcasting will soon return to the peninsula with a new three-date mini-tour: Friday 11 March at ARCI Biko, Milan, Saturday 12 March at the Quirinetta in Rome e Sunday 13 March at Locomotiv Club in Bologna. Tickets for the three shows will be available at circuit Ticketone starting from 10 a.m. tomorrowon Tuesday 19 January. In addition to the entrance ticket, to attend the Milan concert you will need the ARCI cardwhile Bologna will need the AICS membership cardBoth can be subscribed to on the evening of the concert.
I Public Service Broadcasting have a mission: 'to teach the lessons of the past through the music of the future'. To do so, J. Willgoose, Esq. e Wrigglesworth use audio and video samples taken from old public information films (educational shorts commissioned by the US and UK governments from the 1940s onwards), archive material and propaganda films accompanied by live instrumentation. The debut album "Inform - Educate - Entertain (Test Card Recordings, 2013) debuted at number 21 in the UK charts and received rave reviews from publications such as MOJO, The Guardian e The Independent. Last February, the duo presented their second album, "The Race For Space" (Test Card Recordings)with two special shows at the National Space Centre followed by an extensive European tour, including five dates in Italy. The new album reached number 11 in the UK and was one of the best-selling indie albums of the year. Now, Public Service Broadcasting return to present "E.V.A.the new single.
I Public Service Broadcasting are currently one of the most successful live acts in the UK, having performed at festivals including Glastonbury, Bestival e Green Manopened the European tour dates of Manic Street Preachers, Editors e Kaiser Chiefs and acted as back-up to the Rolling Stones at British Summer Time 2013 in Hyde Park.
