AN EVENING IN THE NAME OF JAMES BROWN

The 24 January 2007 at ROLLING STONE by Milan, JACK ASHFORD, founder of MOTOWN SOUND, will dedicate the concert to his great friend JAMES BROWNthe recently deceased king of funk. No speculation, no rhetoric behind this dedication. Those who have known the great friendship that has always linked these two sacred monsters of American black music know this well.
The already confirmed Italian guest, ready with her great voice to interpret some of the most famous soul/funk songs made in the USA, will be AIDA COOPER, fresh from the BABYBERTE' Tour alongside her friend LOREDANA.
Aida has personally chosen a few MOTOWN workhorses that we don't want to reveal for now.
So as not to leave you high and dry, here are some of the tracks that JACK ASHFORD and his FUNK BROTHERS will play on 24 January in Milan, an impressive number 1 hits:

Up Tight
What's Going On
My Girl
Ain't No Mountain High Enough
I Heard it Through The Grapevine
Get Ready
Loosing You

... and many more....

A unique appointment, definitely not to be missed:
