The great success of We Will Rock You is the result of a brand new production, staged in 2018 by a new cast and specially conceived for our country by Claudio Trotta for Barley Arts and a Careful revision and implementation of the original text, translated by Raffaella Rolla, by Director Michaela Berlini, Valentina Ferrari and Producer Claudio Trotta. The executive producer is Cristina Trotta.

Thus Claudio Trotta on the eve of the new season of the show in which he starred as a producer: "A new direction that further enhances the uniting force of rock and the beauty of sharing. Only together can we change the world. A new pair of protagonists who are naively saviours of Planet Earth, renewed choreography, stage design and ensemble: this is what audiences will welcome from today'.

For this new season of the musical, the cast, made up of talented singer-actors, has two new protagonists. Scaramouche will be Martha Rossi who in 2009, on the occasion of the first Italian edition of We Will Rock You, was chosen and wanted for this role by Brian May himself. Galileo will instead have the face and voice of Luca Marconiall-round performer, singer, songwriter, musician and actor.

Last year's cast includes the confirmation of the 'Bright Star' of Valentina Ferrari in the role of Killer Queen with a new, more villainous and dominant look, by Paolo Barillari increasingly 'cruel' in the role of Commander Kashoggi, of Claudio Zanelli versatile as Brit and the teacher, the phenomenal Loredana Fadda as Oz and the 'wise man' Massimiliano Colonna interpreter of Pop.

The original play was written and produced by Ben Elton, in collaboration with Roger Taylor e Brian May. The music and songs are the original ones, sung in English and performed strictly live by an outstanding band selected for the successful 2018/2019 edition.
