WILLY MOON ON TOUR AFTER JACK WHITE'S BLESSING: MILAN ONLY ITALIAN DATE

Beat, dubstep, an unmistakable style, Willy Moon will be in Italy on 20 April 2013, at the Factory in Milan for a concert that is part of his first European tour as a headliner, after a successful 2012 that saw him special guest on Jack White's UK tour.

William Sinclair, 23 years old, a naturalised New Zealander from London at 17. An idea of sound to be created, a vintage rock that seems crystallised in the 1950s reinterpreted in the hip hop key of the second millennium: the self-taught musician finds the sound within himself and becomes Willy Moon. He made his debut in 2011 with the single I Wanna Be Your Man, Bo Diddley-style beat, but abrasive and contaminated, followed by Yeah Yeah, the single that was chosen for Apple's I-Pod commercial and which also gave its first EP its title. Jack White noticed it and in July 2012 announced the release of Willy Moon's follow-up single Railroad Track with his own label 'Third Man Record'. He also wanted him as an opening act on tour: sold-out arenas and growing attention for Moon, who after the tour also began to make a name for himself in the United States.

The end of 2012 finds him launched and enthusiastic in anticipation of his first proper tour, which opens with an already sold-out date at London's XOYO on 12 February and continues with more shows in England in March and throughout Europe in April 2013. These include the long-awaited date at Milan's Factory on 20 April. Tickets on presale in the Ticketone circuit
