One month into the Australian singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist's spring tour of Italy Xavier Ruddis officially sold out the concert by Saturday 9 April at the Zona Roveri in Bologna! Tickets are no longer available on official sales channels TicketOne e VivaTicketnor will they be available for purchase at the box office on the evening of the concert; please note that access to the Bologna concert will require the ARCI or UISP membership card. Xavier Rudd returns to Italy after the experience with The United Nationsa line-up of musicians from all corners of the globe representing the diverse cultures of Australia, Aboriginal peoples, South Africa, Samoa, Germany and Papua New Guinea. Whether alone or in the company of the band, the message of Xavier Rudd is always the same, simple and effective: all the peoples of the world can unite and rediscover their spirit, drawing on ancient cultures and protecting the Earth and the essence of creation. Released in March 2015, Nanna is the eighth studio album from Rudd and the successful sequel to Spirit Bird (2012) who, driven by the hit Follow The Sun (platinum in Italy), debuted at the #2 of the ARIA ranking and brought Xavier around the world on its longest tour to date.
Official opening act of the European tour of Xavier Rudd - and therefore also of Italian concerts - is the Australian singer, ukulelist and percussionist of Samoan origin Bobby Aluon stage with the EP Bay Sessions released in January 2015. Between fresh sounds and sunny rhythms, recreated with the sound of the Polynesian ukulele and deep beats over a soft, warm voice, the captivating stories told by Bobby Alu They transport you directly to the beaches of the Australian coast, giving you the pleasant sensation of lying in a hammock in the shade of palm trees.
