Tuesday 25 August the US rapper YELAWOLF arrives for the first time in Italy, in a single date at Circolo Magnolia of Segrate (MI), to bring the music that has conquered Eminem, so much so that he wanted it on his label Shady Records. Opening the concert will be what is credited by many as the real "next big thing"of the Italian hip hop scene, GEMITAIZ. After an independent record, a few mixtapes and an EP in 2011, the breakthrough came with Eminem's label and the help of the legendary rapper and his team, YELAWOLF starts recording his second official album, '.RadioactiveRadioactive" (released on November 21, 2011), which sold 50,000 records in its debut week and reached number 27 on the Billboard 200, and in April 2012 sold 193,000 copies in the USA. "Radioactive" is recognized as a success by the music press and not only, in fact Rolling Stone magazine awards the album with 3 stars out of 5, XXL magazine includes it in the "Top 11 Freshemen of 2011″ and Complex Magazine included it among the 25 best albums of 2011, at position number 18. In 2012 the mixtape "Heart Of Dixie" e "Psyco White"the latter a project in collaboration with the drummer of Blink 182, Travis Barker. In 2014 Yelawolf released the singles "Box Chevy V" e "'Till It's Gone"anticipating the new album "Love Story", released in April 2015 after two years of studio work involving the likes of Eminem, Malay, WillPower and DJ Paul.
With the release of Kepler, an album produced together with MadMan, GEMITAIZ he made himself known to the general public by reaching number one in the FIMI GFK charts and, two months after its publication, was awarded the Golden Disc for the number of copies sold. The album features several valuable collaborations and featuring, from the producers who grew up with him - Pk, Ombra, Frenetik & Orang3 to Don Joe of Club Dogo - passing through historical characters such as Jake la furia and Guè Pequeno, Jay Reaper of Dope D.O.D. and Clementino. In December 2014 Gemitaiz made available for free download the fifth volume of the mixtape "Quello che vi consiglio", which has become a cult mixtape among his fans every year, achieving great success with over 250,000 downloads in one week.
