02/09/09: GOV'T MULE RETURNS IN NOVEMBER

The only date in Italy for GOV'T MULE, next 12 November in Milan: from when Warren Haynesthe historical and undisputed deus ex machina of the band, reformed 'Il Mulo' in 2004, this is the second time for Milan's Alcatraz, once again the venue for one of their concerts, after the 2005 exploit.

During the last European tour in the summer of 2006, there were three dates in Italy, where the most important southern rock band ever (together with Lynyrd Skynyrd), performed a varied and powerful set, enriched by high-profile covers, from Led Zeppelin to Johnny Cash via the Grateful Dead.

With the inclusion of Jorgen Carlsson (replacing Andy Hess, the last bassist of the Robinson brothers' Black Crowes, who in turn had taken over from the late Allen Woody) and keyboardist Danny Louis Gov't Mule is now a quartet consisting of, in addition to Warren on vocals and guitar, drummer and founder Matt Abts.

GOV'T MULE have recorded eight studio albums in the course of their career, selling over a million copies worldwide and performing almost 1,500 concerts.
