After a summer as the absolute star of the world pop scene LILY ALLEN is gearing up for an autumn on the road again and finally for her long-awaited first Italian date: the London singer will be the next 28 OCTOBER at Alcatraz in Milan.
The single 'Not fair' was an incredible success, remaining in the Top 20 of the Italian radio charts for three months, while the new extract from the album 'It's not me, it's not you', with the explicit title 'Fuck You'He is already replicating the great achievements of his predecessor.
"It's Not Me, It's You," released in February 2009 on the Emi label, still has the fresh and cheeky approach to the themes dear to her: biting social commentary, the interplay between sex and politics, an autobiographical yet ironic look at the life of a young woman in the third millennium, all accompanied by the honeyed voice of 24-year-old Lily. "I find it hard to write songs about nothing. I try to write things that are relevant to my life, totally strange and surreal but at the same time universal." The general atmosphere of It's Not Me, It's You may be darker, but it is a decidedly more mature work, nonetheless catchy, and the results are once again excellent: the album debuts at number one in the UK charts, when at the top of the singles charts are "The Fear", "Not fair", "Fuck you" and also "22" (for now only in the UK).
