6/12/10: OCTOPUS TOMORROW AT MAGNOLIA FOR A CONCERT EVENT

OCTOPUS are back in Milan after last summer's Carroponte. They will do it at Magnolia with a concert in which there will be plenty of guests, all of them strictly by surprise. The trio is currently made up of the two founders Reepo Man (Enrico Beretta, vocals  and guitar) and Garrincha (Marco Castellani, bass and vocals), accompanied by Rolando Cappanera, who took over from the outgoing Zed (Luca Capasso) on drums.

The funky rock band is known on the music scene for its live performances, the best dimension for the three musicians who show great familiarity with their instruments and uncommon improvisation skills on stage.

A concert by Octopus is guaranteed fun for the audience, who can enjoy two hours of funky music at the highest level: the setlist includes tracks from the EP released last year, as well as from the new album, which will be preceded by a single in early 2011 that will be produced and launched in the United States, the country where the three spent several months of 2010 working on the new material.

During their time in the US, Octopus have confirmed their status as an international band, and have been well received by American audiences and record companies.

Since 2008, OCTOPUS has been the only band of Marco Castellani, aka Garrincha, after his farewell to Le Vibrazioni, where he had been bassist for ten years.
