After the sold-out shows in Vigevano and Rome last June, PRIMUS return to Italy in spring for two concerts, on 23 and 24 March in Pordenone and Brescia.
The trio currently consists of the original line-up, with leader Les Claypool on vocals and bass, Larry LaLonde on guitar and Jay Lane on drums, brings to tour the new unreleased work released last September, entitled 'Green Naugahyde'.
The show, entitled 'An Evening with Primus', will be divided into two parts, for a total of three hours of concert time. The artistic criteria according to which the 'Pork Soda' band will divide the show are not yet revealed.
'Frank Zappa meets metal': this is how the American trio was defined at the beginning of their career in the late 1980s. Original, mind-blowing, crazy, unhinged and above all Musicians with a capital 'M', they rightfully gained cult band status during the 1990s. "Frizzle Fry", "Sailing the Seas of Cheese" and "Pork Soda", their first three albums, brought irony, already intuitable from the titles, into the metal scene of skulls, cobwebs and sad faces.
