MIKA, THE REVELATION ARTIST OF THE YEAR, RETURNS IN AUTUMN: THREE DATES IN THE ARENAS

The beautiful show witnessed by more than three thousand people at theAlcatraz in Milan last Aprilrenewed in Italy next autumn. MIKA is undoubtedly the revelation artist of the year. After the uproar of the two moves regarding the venue chosen for his first Italian concert, thanks to a high demand for tickets that took him from Magazzini Generali (capacity of one thousand people) to a sold-out Alcatraz (over three thousand), the Lebanese-born, London-raised artist returns for three dates in as many sports arenas.
MIKA is the new face of international pop music. In Italy her album ' Life in Cartoon Motion' has long since gone gold, while the first single 'Grace Kelly' was the most played song on Italian radio stations this year (six consecutive weeks at the top of Music Control), as well as the most downloaded song on paid web portals. The new single 'Relax - Take it easy' is already top 20, allowing MIKA to have two songs in the charts at the same time. The success of this young artist is of worldwide proportions: in the UK, the album has gone platinum.
The line-up that accompanies him on stage (guitar, bass, drums and keyboards) gives the concert a decidedly rock dimension, thanks to which the songs from 'Life in cartoon Motion' take on more energy, drawing the audience in from start to finish. Colourful sets (balloons and costumes inspired by the world of cartoons), designed and created by MIKA himself, do the rest. Tickets for the Turin and Bologna dates will be available from Thursday 21 June on the Ticket One circuit and later in the usual presale outlets. The city and the name of the arena for the third and last date of the Italian tour will be announced shortly.
