After a tour long postponed due to the pandemic and which finally saw him on stage in Italy last April for his first solo tour in theatres, and in addition to his already announced presence as special guest at the Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals concert on Tuesday 11 July 2023 at Milan's Circolo Magnolia, John Butler announces three more stops on his solo tour: Wednesday 12 July at BOtanique in Bologna, Thursday 13 July at the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle in Merano (BZ) for the World Music Festival and Friday 14 July at the Auditorium Horszowski in Monforte d'Alba for Monfortinjazz Festival. Tickets are already available on Ticketone (all dates), Ticketmaster (Milan and Bologna) and Mailticket (Monforte d'Alba).
John Butler, considered Australia's most successful independent musician, released in 2018 with the John Butler Trio his seventh studio album HOME, where he experimented with new sounds and different genres without ever betraying the sound that characterises him and is his trademark. After the extraordinarily successful experience with the trio, the rock musician is back on the scene as a solo artist with a European tour. About his new adventure, John Butler says: "I have been looking forward to this! I love performing solo and ever since I took Tin Shed Tales around Australia a few years ago, I wanted to share this show with the rest of my family around the world. Europe, are you ready? I can't wait to see you all there. There will be intimacy, silences, wonderful venues, stories and unexpected performances of songs you already know and songs I hardly ever play with the band. I can't wait!"
