If this goal sounds pretty ambitious for a little guy from New York, it has to be said that in the four years since Des Rocs started publishing his songs from his bedroom in NYC the artist managed to accumulate more than 225 million streamsenter the charts and open concerts of Rolling Stones. Fourth-generation New Yorker, Des began his career playing in a series of bands that shared stages with Weezer, Fall Out Boy e Panic! At The Disco before making his solo debut in 2018 with the EP Let The Vultures Inwhich alone scored over 50 million streams on Spotify. This work was followed by two more successful EPs (Martyr Parade in 2019 and This Is Our Life in 2020), and more recently the full length A Real Good Person In A Real Bad Place. Recorded independently in the home studio of Des, the album is a bold and intoxicating piece of rock fuelled by provocative and magnetic performances that wink at everything from Freddie Mercury to Elvis Presley.
