At just 26 years old dodie has made a name for herself online as a singer and writer, winning millions of fans with her videos on YouTube - its channel doddleoddle has close to two million subscribers - and an intimate and passionate singing style. He has achieved a sold out at Roundhouse in London even before the release of his debut album, he played at theHollywood Palladium and the Terminal 5 from New York and two of his EPs reached the top ten. One can hardly say that dodie rest on their laurels.
After several postponements due to the COVID-19 pandemic and Brexit, finally on 7 May 2021 dodie released its highly anticipated debut album Build A Problem. The singer-songwriter has written most of the songs in the last two years. "I think it was a time of crisis actually," she declares. "I wasn't really sure who I was and I was trying to figure that out through music. I think it's a pretty unsteady album, but definitely honest."
