British singer, guitarist and composer, Paul Weller is a veritable institution in his homeland and one of the main representatives of Mod culture. His recording debut came in 1977 with the release of In The City (Polydor Records) with the Jam, a band of which he was frontman and with which he reached the top of the British charts several times. In 1982 he founded the Style Council together with the keyboardist Mick Talbotin order to explore the boundaries of theacid jazz. This experience also came to an end, Paul Weller kick-started his solo career and moved on to new sounds bordering on the pop, folk, soul and even in theelectronics. This incredible capacity for experimentation emerges in the flourishing discography of Wellerwhich since 1992 has published as many sixteen studio albumsthe last of these, Fat Pop (Volume 1) (Polydor/Universal)comes out on 14 May 2021.
