DEVON ALLMAN ON TOUR WITH HIS HONEYTRIBEMONDAY IN ROME, THEN PISA

Two dates not to be missed for fans of southern rock. Here comes the latest home-grown Allman, Devon, to bring the music of his solo works to Italy. After the tour of Derek Trucksalso part of the family, albeit not by blood ties but strictly musical ones, comes the other young face of the American rock-blues tradition. First date Wednesday 14 at the Beer Station in Rome and second stage Thursday at Borderline in Pisa.

Devon Allman debuted on the international music scene in 2005 with his first single 'How Verso Are You?', a song that Toyota wanted as the soundtrack of his advertising campaign to launch the new Corolla in the same year. He then made his debut, as leader of Honeytribe, with the album Torchrecorded at the legendary Ardent Studios in Memphis (USA) with guitarist Pete Matthews and released in Italy on 31 August on the Edel label. The album, which contains ten original tracks and a cover of 'Don't Worry, Be Happy' by Bob Marleyis a fiery fusion of blues and soul with hard rock arrangements. In 2006, Torch was one of the most played albums on American satellite radio stations XM and Sirius, so much so that Devon's performance on American blues radio in November Woodsongs Radio Hourwas broadcast on AOL Music and quickly became a cult hit in the Harley Davidson world. This year, Devon also realised another project of his: in the company of dear childhood friends, also the children of legendary artists, he recorded the album 'A Song For My Father'cover-album of songs that made their fathers famous, to which he contributed the cover 'Midnight Rider'. In fact, names such as Ben Taylor son of James Taylor and Carly Simon, Salvador Santana son of Carlos Santana, Ky-Mani Marley son of Bob Marley and many others have collaborated on the project.

'Devon Allman & Honeytribe' having accompanied bands such as The Disco Biscuits, Gov't Mule, Cheap Trick and of course The Allman Bros. is touring Europe from November with dates in Austria, Switzerland, Italy and Germany.
