Just a few days to Prodigy's upcoming Italian tour, now enhanced by the news that DJ MYKE and DJ ALADYN from THE REVERSE will be on stage as special guests of the Essex group. From the duo behind the Men in Skratch project, the crew that brought Italian turntablism to international levels. Their DJ set will consist of a selection of breakbeat music and will start at around 8 pm.
DJ Myke:
Creator and founder of the most eclectic crew of Italian and foreign deejaying, "Men In Skratch", DJ Myke fuses his distinct and energetic sense of groove with a refined and never predictable performance technique. He is the author of many interesting projects and collaborations on the Italian and foreign music scene, including "Piante Grasse", "The Reverse", the latter published in England by Copasetik Recordings, which features Esa, Prodigy, Men in Skratch, etc. In 2000/2001/2002 he won both as a single and with Men In Skratch, four times the Italian title "DMC italy", participating in the world finals held in London in the same years (DMC TECHINCS WORLD DJ CHAMPIONSHIP). In 2003, together with his historical partner DJ Aladyn, he placed second at the ITF European Championship in Prague (ITF EASTERN HEMISPHERE). DJ Myke: from the turntable all the way down to the beating heart of music.
DJ Aladyn:
Only those who are firmly sure of their own style and passion can afford to experiment, collaborate and mix with others, without risking losing themselves. Aladyn has put his talent on the turntables next to very different artists and projects -from the collaboration with Jovannotti in the Capo Horn tour, to the one with Saturnino Bass to the bones tour, to top radio projects, such as BSide with Alessio Bertallot and Tropical Pizza with Nikky, for Radio Deejay- while maintaining a strong identity and increasing his passion for skratch, if that is possible. He doesn't get lost because he knows where he comes from and at home, having to choose between having a bedroom or a room to practice with turntables ...he sleeps in the living room!!!
